• Welcome!

Welcome to (the dead) DragonFable Central! This has coverage on many armors and zones.

This site is dead. I will no longer update it since I do not have enough free time. The only part that will be updated is the Wars page, but keep in mind that the war meter probably isn't accurate.

  • FREE Google Wave Invites!!!

Since obviously my tweets weren't working, I'm going to make it clear: I am giving out 5 Google Wave invites. First come, first serve. Send a direct message on Twitter with your email address to @Sinani201. Since no one seems to care about this, your chances of winning are pretty high. I know this has nothing to do with Dragonfable, but this is probably the only way for people to get the invite since my two tweets aren't working.

Guide – The Necropolis

The Storyline: Doomwood used to be a beautiful forest that wasn’t full of undead. However, It has been assaulted with the undead and Necomancers, so it’s been ruined. Under Doomwood is the Necropolis, an underground university for training Necromancers. Your job is to stop them and destroy the undead, with the help of Artix Von Krieger, a Paladin who has completely dedicated his life to fighting the undead, and he won’t stop until he beats them all! On a side note, make sure you always collect Undead Slayer Badges; you need them to train Paladin, Necromancer, and DeathKnight skills.

The quests in this chain are probably the most well-put together in my opinion. AE put a nice twist with the different activities at the Necro U (which was probably GEARS University in the past) instead of the traditional fight-through-the-monsters quest, something that the Fire War quest chain did poorly on.

Artix isnt worthy enough to slay the undead himself, so he needs your help!

Artix is too lazy to slay the undead himself, so he needs you to do the dirty-work for him!

The Quests:

Haunted Castle

  • The beginning of this quest is a bit buggy. Your people are still there, so don’t worry. Also remember that this quest is optional, and it is also the fastest way to get Unlucky Doom Essence.
  • I recommend using Ranger for this entire quest chain. It is extremely easy to get; after completing “The Hard Way” at The Sandsea, it becomes available for training. I also assume that it is fully trained.
  • Invite Artix as your party member before doing this quest as well.
  • Anyways, use Purge on the first guard, and then use Holy on the next one, then move on.
  • When you go in the house, move right and use Purge on the skeleton.
  • Purge the next 3 skeletons.
  • In the next frame, use Purge and Holy on doubles, and use Purge on singles.
  • On the triples, use Purge, Holy, and then Dual.
  • The final person at the end shouldn’t be much of a threat. Kill them, then go back to frame 2.
  • When you arrive at frame 2, move up by killing the two skeletons guarding the path.
  • You’ll then have access to a healing pad (Whew!). After healing up, move right again. Kill the skeletons there, and then go back.
  • With the key to the Throne Room, go up and kill the boss for some Unlucky Doom Essence.
  • The boss is a Bone Fire. He should be incredibly easy to kill, so kill him and then finish the quest.

Save Moonridge!!

  • Just fight all the waves, then beat the boss.
  • Take extra caution against Skelemancers; they do extreme damage!
  • If you have unlocked all Paladin skills, use Combo attack and Pheonix Song a lot.
  • This is the best place to get Undead Slayer Badges

Moonridge : Saved!

  • Watch the cutscene; it’s funny :)
  • The boss, Armadeadon, should be pretty easy. Use Purge, Dual, and then go all-out power against him.
  • FlashBang and Poison are good abilities to use Against him.

The Outcast

  • The flying eyeballs on the way to the necromancer’s house should be easy to kill.
  • The boss, sheleton, isn’t much of a threat. The only thing that makes him hard is the DOOM counter, which will kill you after 9 turns. Be quick!

The Gate Keeper

  • The boss is quite hard, though you shouldn’t have trouble beating him. If you lose, try again, and keep trying.
  • I’d recommend using Ranger Armor, don’t use your base class. And if you somehow have fully trained Paladin armor, then use that. If you don’t have fully trained Ranger, use Dragonlord or any class that has many multi-attacks.
  • I’ll give you a step-by-step guide FOR RANGER only. If you don’t have Ranger, try to use an equivalent of the abilities that I say.
  • Since he has a 50/50 immobility resistance, try stunning one of the minions (the Gate Keeper has 50 immobility resist, and the guards have none), and only attack his guards; save The Gate Keeper for last. This is because all enemies deal the same average damage, and the guards have less health.
  • If you have Artix in your party, don’t forget to use Holy!
  • Then, use Dual (double attack). Again, this should only be on one of the guards. You should then be able to finish off the guard with Purge.
  • Then, use Debiliating Arrow on the next minion. After that, use the Dual attack (or just normal attack).
  • Now, drink a health potion, since you’re probably on low health.
  • Next, use Flurry. Remember, health potions ALWAYS take priority. So if you’re ever on low health, USE THEM! Anyways, after Flury, use Cooldown Shot (or Dual if it is necessary), and the last undead minion should be killed.
  • Now, for the Gate Keeper. You can go  all-out power on him. If you didn’t use Dual on the last minion, use it. Don’t poison him, and use the shield (which is pretty effective since he only does single-attacks). Again, Health potions should always take priority. Flurry is good too. You should be able to beat him.
  • If you use Artix, his Holy cooldown might be wearing off near the end of the battle.
  • Whew! You have just defeated one of the most challenging bosses in DF. Give yourself a pat on the back, and get ready for a fun quest up ahead.

The Body Shop

  • The classroom might seem a bit familiar *cough*GEARS*cough*
  • The grabbing is completely random, and you will always end at least fighting one “partly functional” undead  creatures.
  • Remember to always choose different levers, never do the same one twice unless you have gone through all four!
  • The boss monster should be pretty easy to kill.

Too Many Cooks

  • This probably my least favorite quest. You have to walk around, trying to kill all of the living zombie food. Find all the cauldrons, and you’re done.
  • I’ll post up a map of the place later (I’m working on it!) so you can find your way around.

The Green Mist

  • This is a strange quest. You will be playing as Kid Artix.
  • You can’t equip any of your items.
  • Your info says that he does 1-2, but he actually does 2-3
  • Make sure to re-equip your weapon set at the end of this quest.

Artix VS. The Undead

  • For the first three skeletal beings, use Purge on one, Holy on another one, and then a multi to deal some final damage. Then, finishing off the battle should be easy.
  • Repeat the above for the next wave.
  • The next skeletal minions are only in twos, so just use Purge and Holy and maybe a Multi to finish them.
  • The next monster is only single, so use Puge and Holy ahttp://dragonfablecentral.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=15gain to finish him.
  • In the next part, there will be another triple, so go back to step one to finish them.
  • If you need health potions, remember to use them in between battles, and not while in the battle.
  • Anyways, the next monster will be single, so use Purge and Holy again.
  • Afterwards, The Necromantress will summon Edgar, so kill him. If you think you’re up to it, fight in extreme mode. (Artix doesn’t really use the super-hammer)
  • Edgar attacks your party members.
  • His 65 resistance to immobility makes him a tough foe. Start off with Purge, (then Holy,) then Dual.
  • Poison will work on him, so you might want to use that as well.
  • FlashBang is also very effective on him. Use that a lot.
  • Since FlashBang has a relatively long cooldown, use Cooldown Shot after it.
  • After that, you should just be able to use your own good judgment to kill him.

Noxus Fumes

  • After beating Artix VS. The Undead, the Paladin armor will be available. Use that for the quest.
  • Use your choice of Spinstrike, Zeal, or Spear to use against the boss. Do NOT use Phoenix Song.
  • Go all-out power against the boss (with Paladin, this should be pretty easy). Then you win.

Extra Credit

  • This is a titan fight! Summon your dragon and give your all! I’d recommend you having a fully trained dragon before doing this fight.
  • Make sure your dragon’s element is Light for this fight (hey that rhymes). If it isn’t, you can always change it at Lady Celestia.

TA’s Challenge

  • This quest is entirely optional.
  • I’d recommend having a fully trained Paladin armor before doing this.
  • The monsters in this quest are not scaled. Try to find the Crawler appropriate for our level, and you might find it to be good farming!
  • The Impossible Crawler is the hardest monster to kill in the entire game (haha you lost The Game!), except for maybe Sepulchure (you can get to him from the Shadow of the Wind Village)

Other stuff:

You can get 3 armors in this zone: Paladin, Necromancer, and DeathKnight.

  5. i cant kill the gate keeper hes to hard

  6. keep trying.

  7. gate keeper is easy i used ash,artix and base class i kept using stun then holy {ps im a level 11 warrior}

  8. everybody how do you get the necromancer armor?

  9. nvm i got it

    why does necromancer armor flowt

  10. I keep trying at the body shop quest but i never EVER got a single part. Why? I always get shake spears.

  11. im not a member so i cant use purge whats the closest thing to it

    • On the Ranger, Summon Hawk is an excellent alternative for non-members. You have to do the Hudson’s Hawk quest (from Zhoom) to unlock the ability, though.

  12. oh and im on artix vs the undead and i just cant beat it i come really close

    • Try to level up a bit and then try again when you’re a higher level. Or, if you haven’t upgraded your health potions, do that at the potion shop and then use the potions when you’re on low health.

Also, the Stat Trainer can be helpful. For each Endurance point, you get 5 HP.

  13. thank u

  14. where is the stat trainer?

    • From Falconreach, go down one frame and go in the house on the right. From there, speak to Sir Render (on the left) and select the Stat Trainer. It might be a bit heavy on gold, but worth it in the long run!

  15. thanks again

  16. Ranger is good when ur a non-DA keep trying i killed one by one even its hard to kill them I think u need final blow on the base class it might be amazing, these quest is THE GATE KEEPER return of the doom Ivol Internexy the greatest quest finisher(but he got stuck on the artix vs the undead)and im the one whos owning Ivol hes even trying to get the doom axe

  17. yeah yeah i got somethin use strong shimmer (can be found when u do the quest ”The letter” from warlic) oh and can u guys tell me how to kill that noxus cause i dont have a dragon amulet and looks like hans and the few characters of Adventure quest is not there domt worry but i need the NECROMANCER ARMOR

  18. when i beat noxus, i get killed by the minions! and wht cant i use pheonix song?

    • Go for the minions first, and then attack Noxus.

To use Pheonix song, you’ll need to train your Paladin armor up to that point. If you’re not a DA holder, you wont be able to use it.

  19. oh, cuase i trained the armor all the way! lol

so if i have a DA, and have the paladin armor all the way trained, i can use pheonix song?

    • Use your health potions. You can also use the “Heal” ability if you want, but if you’ve been upgrading your health potions at the potion shop, that’ll be your best bet.

The mini-caption for the ability is “Song.” It’s the third one that comes after the Attack button (the picture resembles a Phoenix, or something like that).
